Finally comes home and start interior...

Time to start gathering the interior pieces...
interior pieces

Here are the door panels I stripped from the 1980...
excellent condition

Headliner was installed before the Pinto came home...
headliner installed

headliner installed

This is the day I got it back from Body and Paint...
time for me to get busy

interior is my job

Rebuilt engine... just needs fine tuning...
engine finished

First look at the interior...
I get to do the interior

lots to do here

Nothing is installed...
naked dash

Sounds Mean!!! straight from the header...
no exhaust

The cat and I inspecting my Pinto emblems....
What do ya think Buddy?

I wanted 3 with the Red, White and Blue...
tape.. paint.. tape.. paint.. tape.. paint..

All done and ready...
looking good

Hint!!! when painting the interior... TAPE THE CONNECTORS!!!!
This Sucked!

Failure to do 10 minutes of prep cost me hours of work... and plenty of frustration...
I was ready to kill something...

Door panels look really good...
still want to find window cranks w/black knobs

And the start of the dash reassembly....
painted connectors were an issue here...

Not sure what happened here... Passenger door glass just shattered...
ARGGGG!!!

And no, I didn't slam the door because I was frustrated with the painted connectors...
while I was shutting the door it just Exploded!
