Mark Has A New Ride

My New Ride! I was told about about it at the GMAS and the seller contacted me with pictures.

Pretty nice interior for a well used 31 year old car and 138,000 miles.

and the back seat is almost mint.

the headliner is in great condition

it even has a small trailer hitch for maybe a teardrop or very small pop-up camper

they pulled it out of the garage for me to take home.

It's rusty in spots but a decent little car.

little bit of red spray paint and the carpet will be as good as new.

original spare tire.

needs a wheel well molding

nice front bumper and grill, that alone is worth what I paid for the car.

door panels are good.

the hatch arms hold which it a HUGE! plus.

for $150.00... I had to have it.

John doing most of the work again...

almost got it on the tow dolly.

strapping it down for the ride home to West Allis.

almost ready to go

John making sure it' secure and the final check.

Down North Ave to Hwy 100 to Greenfield Ave and to my house and people were slowing down to see it.

I had to get a picture from my rear view mirror going down Greenfield Ave.

that's the fastest it's gone in over 4 years.

In the alley and ready to unload

I put a fresh battery in it, dumped some gas down the carb and DROVE IT! This is the first of many times it will be seen at Solid Gold McDonalds.

parked at home between my two 78 wagons.

at the Milwaukee Speedway for "Drive The Mile 2009"

There is a good chance that is was built the same day as my red 1978 red squire wagon, The VIN numbers are only 62 apart. What a find and I will have fun with my new little pony.
