Bad Lobo - Ford Pinto Cruising Wagon
The only work that has been done on it is a 2002 repaint and decals that match the original paint scheme. The Wagon is Silver Metallic (1G), the first of three versions of this trend-setting mini-street-van option.
It features steel side panels with bubble-glass portholes, dual sport mirrors, front spoiler, styled steel wheels with trim rings, carpeting on inner quarter walls and load floor
Also included is the Sports Rallye Package, which adds: tachometer, ammeter, and temperature gauges, higher spring rates, front stabilizer bar (standard on Wagons), sport steering wheel, plus higher axle ratio.
Silver Metallic (1G) decked out with optional three-color paint/tape, side tape stripe treatment which replaces standard vinyl insert body side moldings.
I have all the original paper work including the window stickers and key fobs.
It was a California car and has the California emissions package..... one of the first for that state. I drag it out occasionally for a Saturday ride or collector show.
Has a 2.3 liter engine and 4-speed manual transmission.
In 1998 my father and I drove it from California to Chicago along Route 66. We loaded it down with all sorts of gear and never had to shift down for any of the long grades along the way.
As much as I love this critter I am willing to part with it in order to make room in my garage.. asking $4100 and willing consider any good offers.
