Just a few pics of some of the Pinto's I have owned over the years. I had to dig
deep to find these, I didn't take a lot of pictures back then.
The Pinto's of days gone by...
The last one was a shiny little red Mercury Bobcat. Bought it about 13 years ago.
It didn't run very well, barely got it home as I recall. It only ran good enough to
move it around the yard. But, she sure was shiny ! I had plans of converting it to a V8
but a divorce got in the way and well....

My Favorite Pinto
I bought this one for $200 and it didn't run very good at the time, A few repairs later
and she was all better. I had this one for a few years and boy did I put on the miles.
Some of my favorite memories go with owning this Pinto...

It was a daily driver, took my ex-wife to the hospital when my son was born and brought him home.
A company fishing trip in which I slept in the back because there wasn't enough room in the cabins and
towing my snowmobile and boat around with it. It did make the move up here but unfortunatly I don't recall
why I quit driving it or what happened to it. This was the Pinto that gave me the most and I sure enjoyed
owning and driving it.
Oldest Pinto Pic
The oldest picture I have of any of my Pinto's. My ex-wife and I bought our "first real car"
an 87' Chev Nova in 88' and you can see the Pinto we were replacing in the back. This one was an adventure
to own and had a load of problems, mostly electrical as I recall. The wiring harness burned up
and a friend helped me rewire the car. We even used "My Favorite Pinto" to help with the rewire
for comparison, That's how I came to know the owner as she lived in the same trailer park we
did and a couple years later sold it to me.

I can also think of one other Pinto that I owned for a short time. I was looking for a cheap beater
and saw it for sale. It had been sitting for a long time and on the drive home it died.
Back then I gave up on this one as I didn't have the resources to fix it up.
I like my Pinto's, anytime I saw one for sale I bought it if I could. I can't think of any other model
of car I have owned more of then the Pinto. I'm finally in the position to fix one up like I always wanted,
so it was time to get a new one. 13 years was just to long.
