Christine

She started life as a Squire sold in December 1979.

She has the 2.8, C4 with a 6.75" rear end with 3:18 gears.

She has options including map light, A/C, PS, PB and protection group.

In January 80, she was involved in a BAD accident and totaled. Two years later, she was somehow back on the road.

A few months after that, she was involved in a worse accident than the first and totaled again.

She was then back on the road a few months later, I have no idea who keeps fixing this car?

She was put up for sale in March, 1997, the same day I got lost going to my friends house.

I stumbled upon this weather-beaten, banged up Squire wagon.

It Barely ran, the transmission fell out of gear, no interior electrical worked except for the blower which shot a pine needle into my eye the first test drive that later turned into a test PUSH.

The interior was trashed and smelled of rotten meat and there seemed to be blood on the head liner.

The doors didn't close correctly, and she smoked.

I had to have it!

Later that week, I drove home (My dad was amazed she made it) my first Pinto.

A couple years later, well, she was a distant memory of what she used to be.

She has been to hundreds of shows and driven all over the USA.

I've racked up a couple hundred thousand miles, driven me to work and school every day.

She's gotten me dozens of dates from girls who felt a real man drives a station wagon.

I love this car and even after 12 years, I never get tired of driving her.
