A Friend Remembered - Victor Von Wright

July 7th, 1953 to December 2nd, 2008

Victor Von Wright, 55 of Hibbing, formerly of Los Angeles, Calif., died, Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008 at the Fairview University Medical Center – Mesabi in Hibbing.

Victor and I talking Pinto's, Rodedawg and I were getting ready to go get the 73 from storage

He was born July 7, 1953, in Los Angeles, Calif., the son of Wallace and Helen (Twyman) Wade.

Victor was growling at Rodedawg for taking his picture, I was laughing because Victor didn't like his picture taken. He was very private man.

He graduated high school and went on to attend Pierce College and Cal State University.

1st Car show of 2008 and Victor stopped by to say Hi! He's growling at Rodedawg again :o)

Victor’s primary occupation was as an actor. He also was a producer, a talk radio host, a designer for a clothing line “Posh Wear”, a truck driver, and currently was a volunteer coordinator and second cook at The Salvation Army and was a member of their advisory board.

Victor always enjoyed a good laugh.

Victor is survived by his wife; Bridget Garner; his son, Justus Von Wright; his mother, Helen (William) Wright; sisters: Cheryl (Richard) Delouth, Venetia (Mickey) White, Andrea (Ali) Esin, and Angela (Thomas) Kohnman; brothers: Mario (Renee) Wright, Lamar Wright, and Mark (Brenda) Wright. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Lavell Wright and Deryl Wade.

A cookout at Cookieboys

It's hard to say goodbye to such a good friend, especially one that will be missed as much as Victor is.

A gathering of friends

A good man truly loved by thoes how knew him.

later that night we all loaded up in the van for fireworks and a trip to the Dairy Queen afterwards.

Life goes by so fast, people go in and out of your life, some leave to early and where he used to be there is a hole in the world.

I will miss having you around at times like these, you shall be missed my friend.

May you rest in peace my friend you shall be missed by the many lives you have touched.

I for one will miss our easy friendship, the long talks and your always ready humor.

Goodbye my friend, you will never be forgotten. ~~Brian
