1971 Pinto
Realease Thursday P.M., August 20, 1970

Ford's new 1971 Pinto, a two-door sedan, combines a small-car
feel with a sporty-car look. The sloping windshield is accented by the low, sleek
lines of the hood and fenders. Ventless side windows add to the trim lines of
the car. In the rear, Pinto's short deck and fastback lines stress the contempory
look of the Seventies. The Pinto is about 13.5-feet long, turnes in a circle of
only 31 feet for easy maneuverability and delivers more than 25 miles per gallon
in city-suburban driving.

Pinto, Ford's new small car with the roomy interior, sports a
simple instrument panel and four-on-the-floor shifting. Ford dealers will display
the Pinto September 11

Ford's new little Pinto, just 163 inches long, 69.1 inches
wide and 50 inches high, provides roomy comfort for four adults. A two-door
sedan that suggests a sporty hardtop, Pinto is the smallest of American-made
sub-compacts. Yet it has the interior spaciousness and comfort of larger
standard-sized cars. Its four-cylinder engine delivers more than 25 miles per
gallon in city-suburban driving. Ford dealers will introduce the Pinto on
September 11
